Review on 💻 atolla Powered USB Hub 3.0: 4 USB 3.0 Data Ports, 1 USB Charging Port, Individual Power Switches by John Hall

I've had an older Atolla USB 3.0 hub for the past 2 years and I liked how reliable it was. So I decided to buy this new model for work because it was free in exchange for an honest review. It arrived yesterday, well packaged and with power supply. Setup is pretty easy and the instructions are clear should you need them. I simply plugged the power adapter into the hub and a power outlet, then plugged the hub's USB cable into my desktop. That's all! I turned on my computer and it recognized everything I plugged in during the test. I used a portable hard drive, a memory card and a keyboard key, everything worked great! I then tested charging my iPhone X using the dedicated charging port on the front and it worked great too! The only thing to note is that the small blue LEDs next to each USB 3.0 port on the hub are lit even when the computer is off. It doesn't matter to me since I'll be using it at work, but it can be distracting if you want to use it on a table next to your bed. You can also disable each port individually by holding down the small button next to it. to each port for a few seconds until the corresponding LED goes out. To turn it back on, press the button again until the light next to the port comes on again. I look forward to using this at work! To update!
