There's a good chance my bumper and the back of the truck .
This $50 product saved my rear bumper from a domino effect when a guy hit me from behind and banged my crossbar during a speedy traffic stop a few weeks ago. If this rod had not been attached to my tailgate hitch there is a good chance my bumper and the rear of the truck would have suffered significant damage. It's also a fantastic item as a third brake light and during the season opening trunk for easy entry and exit from the trunk during installation and removal.
