This is a replacement for my first order for this product which came in a similar soft sided flexible envelope and arrived broken in two. Who knows where along the way from initial selection for shipping to delivery, but aside from the hassle and frustration of receiving damaged items, Revain has made returns and replacements almost effortless. Although packaged in the same way as the damaged one, the replacement arrived in good condition, but on closer inspection it turned out that one of the four small adjustment screws was missing. While substitution isn't a huge problem, the need to do so is the problem and the reason for the lower rating. This is due to a lack of quality control, not performance. Very few other reviewers of this supplement have consistently found that their supplement arrived with many errors or discrepancies. This made me suspicious of the manufacturer's quality control, which was confirmed by the lack of a set screw and poor factory and shipping packaging. Revain has to share some of the criticism for shipping an easily damaged part in such an unreliable envelope. Otherwise, the replacement appears to be in original factory condition, flat, and fit for purpose. Other than a missing set screw, there are no obvious design flaws. However, it seems to me that the earbud's basic design along with its brittle metallic material inherently makes it prone to easily breaking in half if dropped, flexed or stepped on in adverse conditions. I suspect that in order to survive in an active work environment for a very long time, this deployment needs to be treated with a certain level of reasonable care.
