I really like this dado insert. It is made of high quality steel and has a good weight. It fits perfectly on my Metabo table saw and has a standard safety insert for safety. I am very satisfied, will definitely buy from this company again

What you get is not the same as the picture. I have attached photos. I sent back the first one I received thinking it was just a defect but the second one was even worse. The table inserts are badly scratched and do not fit properly. There is no cut out at the top allowing the panel to flex and twist so it slides and is not flat.

I was concerned because the product image did not fit my table saw. However, it fits my Hitachi C10RJ 10" table saw perfectly. The removal hole doesn't have a release mechanism like the original, but it works. It has ample horizontal clearance for stacked 30mm blades. Overall, a great purchase.

The platform is well made but the way it is packaged and delivered is terrible. Does not look like new with surface scratches and some metal nicks. I returned the first one as it was clearly needed and had been returned before. The second arrived looking like it had been used for floor hockey. At least straight, without functional damage. Both Metabo and Amazon are responsible for not taking simple steps to secure items upon delivery because USPS doesn't care. 4 stars for the plate and 1 star…

The Metabo HPT Skirting Insert comes with a panel that is glued in two parts on top, one glued on top of the other (see attached image). Most of it isn't even glued flush to the surface. Although other reviews mentioned poor quality control, I figured I might dodge this bullet. Not so. Metabo HPT must make management aware of this problem. The lack of attention to basic manufacturing and packaging procedures gives this otherwise fine brand a bad name, at least on that part.

This is a replacement for my first order for this product which came in a similar soft sided flexible envelope and arrived broken in two. Who knows where along the way from initial selection for shipping to delivery, but aside from the hassle and frustration of receiving damaged items, Revain has made returns and replacements almost effortless.
