The kit took about 45 minutes to install. I cut holes in the plastic next to the hitch and used 4 metal screws to attach the connector. The hardest part was removing the cover from the wiring harness underneath the car. There's a ledge you can't see holding the connector to the bottom of the case. I cut the plastic holding the connector and reattached it with the included zip ties. My only complaint is that the harness to the connector is way too long and there really isn't anything to tie it to.
