That being said, the quality of the Dorman AutoGrade ball joint was impressive, and since there's no grease fitting, it's leak-proof. The part is guaranteed for life, but given its quality I don't suspect there will ever be a need to look for a warranty replacement. Regarding the installation note, make sure you know the specific torque ratings before attempting to install them. When replacing the control lever on the passenger side, I had to tighten at least 5 screws. If you don't already have it, I would recommend Hein's Guide. it contains all relevant torque specifications as well as information on installation and removal.
