The gate comes with swimming pool quality Phillips head screws. One of the included screws had no slot in the head [just a round head]. Another screw's head broke off when trying to screw it into a pre-drilled pilot hole, requiring several new holes to be drilled. The latch sometimes deforms and binds the latch bracket [freshly installed today, less than 10 latches/unlatches so far] . The wooden accordion has a distinctive "potato chip" curve, so a heavy object is needed to hold the bottom corner against the door frame.
