This is a typical K-Edge product in every way - it's very beautiful, very functional, very well made and very expensive. This type of mount is preferred over the "front" mount for mountain bikes and cyclocross/gravel bikes as it does not leave the mount and GPS vulnerable in a fall. It also frees up bar space and protects your GPS from bright headlights when driving at night. It's also easier to install/remove as there is no need to remove the grip, shifter and brakes like many other handlebar mounts. It holds the Garmin securely without rattling on the worst of terrain, yet still releases easily in the typical 1/4 turn. If you are using the stem "positive" (pointing up like most mountain bikes/hybrids) you may need a few extra washers on the bottom to keep it from touching the stem. The mount itself is neither offset nor tilted - zero degrees. The only downside is the price, that's why I gave it one star, it's very expensive.
