I have been working with wood most of my life. I do a lot of projects where I use wood end caps to cover screw holes, so I've been using these sets for quite some time. For me it is important whether they save the setting or not. You know you're tightening it, and when you do the drill, it slides over you. Well this set is good because when you tighten it with the Allen key that comes with it, it comes loose even with normal pressure when loosening. This gives him a really good grip. Tapered rods have sharp edges along the entire length of the drill. With a tapered bit that really counts. The sizes cover three of the most popular sizes which is a plus for me as I love using decking screws. Overall a good set at a competitive price.
