I have to glue them because when I tried to glue them to other corners without glue, the furniture slipped off every unglued corner. It often broke loose. That means you'll have to decide on the final destination of the furniture, as you probably won't be able to move it after it bites the carpet. You will undoubtedly need to replace them unless you can completely lift the furniture off the floor to move it. They also break if the legs are too small or if you misalign the furniture legs and then tilt the furniture and put on more. They're better than nothing for our ultra plush rug and the only ones available at Revain, but I wish they were less brittle.
