Review on 🔴 Red Hound Auto Control Knob for Honda Accord 1998-2000 - Temperature Black by Mark Powell

Ordered this set of replacement grips for my 1999 Honda Accord. When they arrived the handles didn't fit. Looking at the grips, I saw that the metal D-sleeve that fits over the device controls wasn't 100% correctly formed. This prevented the button from sliding slightly over the controller block as the tolerances seem to be pretty tight. I still had my original broken buttons and had to remove the "D" bushing from the original manufacturer's buttons and replace them with the D-bushings that came with the replacement buttons (using a very small pair of needle nose pliers). Once I did that the handles slid onto the AC unit and I was able to use it. So a mixed review. After putting on these replacement grips they looked great, worked well and fit well. However, I had to do some work and replace the D bushings to make them fit. If I still didn't have the original grips and couldn't change the D-eyelets from the original manufacturer's grips, I would have to return the product as they don't fit. If I didn't have spare D-sleeves I would have to try and modify and repair the existing D-sleeves and I'm not sure I could repair them enough to fit.
