Works as expected. Saves me from having to buy cables for my family's new phones that use the new USB ports. It also allowed me to connect USB sticks to my phone to capture files and quickly transfer them to my work and home environments. I have found this to be very useful when it comes to photos of events that I took spontaneously with my phone and that I want to transfer to our storage system for long-term storage. I hate wasting time sending a few photos or connecting directly to my computer at work, which isn't the fastest transfer. This allows me to upload images to a USB flash drive at any time and do so when convenient while at work.
