I remember seeing reviews that said the battery cover clip broke easily, but I haven't had that problem and I have.
Works as desired with my VX200E and right out of Box (of course with two AA batteries). We should have looked for this solution many years ago. I even put "Vizio" on the bottom of the remote, which I wasn't expecting. Maybe it's not really a trademark, but it helps to know what's going on. I remember seeing reviews that said the battery cover clip broke easily, but I didn't have this problem and treated it like any other remote.
