Review on Origin8 Triple Alloy Crankarms Silver by Devon Dober

I bought these to try short cranks on a recumbent with a high bottom bracket SWB. Good product, looks great in silver. It would be nice if they also came in black. Very happy with the price and the fact that Origin 8 makes them as short cranks are rare in this spec. knee protection. The quality factor is a few mm higher than the FSA, which had to be replaced with connecting rods. They work well for a square taper bottom bracket, but it's a shame Hollowtech doesn't have them. My chainrings fit perfectly. I first bought 145s and used them without the spacers that came with them. Switching to a big ring didn't work so well. The difference to the original 172.5mm cranks on my Bacchetta was significant, they turned well and easily but I lacked the torque. Then I bought some 155s and used spacers. Perfect shifting and a perfect compromise between spin and torque, and no more knee problems that were the original reason for the change.
