Review on ๐ŸŒฟ JARDLI Glass CO2 Atomizer Diffuser System for Planted Aquarium Tanks by Jasmine Baker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The outside of the inline is better than the inside under the headlights.

Arrived on time, well packaged, exactly as pictured. Before ordering this diffuser, I used a fairly expensive, more traditional "corner" diffuser that required an air line to descend into the aquarium. deliver CO2. With this airline, I had to install a separate "bubble counter" to be able to determine the relative rate at which CO2 was being delivered to the tank. This old diffuser has been covered with algae over time. I guess my plecostamus didn't like eating surrounded by all those blisters. This built in diffuser: 1) Eliminates a flow of air entering my tank. This makes it easier for me to move my hood that contains my lights and that covers the aquarium. 2) It will not be full of algae since it is not under the aquarium lights. 3) It seems better to create a lot of small bubbles that are better dissipated in the stream of water coming back from the canister filter. The "In the Corner" block created bubble streams that rose to the surface and burst, allowing more CO2 to escape. It would be ok if it provided air like an air stone, but I'm paying for this CO2, I don't want to waste it. 4) A "bubble counterโ€ feature is built in as the CO2 chamber never completely removes water that has entered during installation. It may not be obvious when looking at the picture. So you need one element less when you start with this type of diffuser. As always with glass, no matter how strong, there is always a chance of the CO2 supply hose breaking. I use the extra flexible hose my fish shop recommends for CO2 lines. Even then I still use something like a pencil point to stretch the line a bit before trying to trace it through the glass hand.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing here
