I make clay earrings and was looking for tools to help me drill holes in my clay slabs for textured earrings. I found these (expensive) and decided to go with them because they seemed to be of good quality and the reviews led me to believe they were good. Spring. they are. most of time. Not sure if they have paint or anything but every time I rolled them onto the clay the color of the wood changed into the clay messing up the color of the clay. If you know anything about polymer clay earrings, you know that sometimes you can spend hours creating the perfect color with different clays and conditioning the clay. I may have only used them twice. I can't spoil the sound anymore. They do a great job of indentation and on dark clay you can't really see the color transfer onto the clay. I mostly use light/nude colors and you can see the color transfer. I'm giving 2 stars simply because I paid a decent amount of money for them and they let me down by transferring their color onto my clay records. dissatisfied.
