My bath fan and light used to be controlled by a basic toggle switch. I for one (and probably most people) hate this type of set up. This switch was the perfect solution for me. Intelligent dimming controls that match other switches I use around the house, separate timing controls for the fan, and I didn't have to expand to a larger box. I have to admit it was a bit of a challenge getting all of the wires to tuck nicely into the existing 2-gang box (switch and GFCI outlet), but it was nothing compared to the work that would've been involved in going to a 3-gang box. the switch is located in about a 6" section of framing near the door. I would've had to cut and alter the framing or relocate the switch to a less convenient location.I use this switch every day and it works great! Thank you Lutron!
