leaves white residue when cleaned in my ultrasonic bath
This is the second tube I've bought - the first was in 2017. It has a problem the previous one didn't have: when I circuit boards made with this paste through my ultrasonic cleaner, it leaves a hard white residue around all SMD components. I don't know what the difference in composition is as the last tube had the same part number but I haven't had this problem. Stress during use but I had to add a step to clean the IPA SMD pads after they came out of the dryer when I used the very last tube of this paste.
