A week in Hawaii meant sunburn for everyone. I wish I had bought long pants made of this fabric because my child only burned where her long shorts cut off, despite layers of sunscreen. This shirt protected her arms and there was no sunscreen underneath. She faces the sun and burns so I wasn't sure if that would protect her but it's a short action and a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.
