This little pump works hard to pump the right amount of air into your tires. The cord is long enough for motorcycles, cars, and SUVs in my opinion, but you may need to purchase a power extender for a large truck as well. I use this pump primarily for the motorcycle and find the gauge fairly accurate. The pump didn't get hot or overheat when I was using it. Also, you have to be careful when screwing the plastic tip onto the tire valve so you don't tear it off. Overall I am very happy with this pump and its performance.
