Review on 🚙 Bilstein 24-187190 5100 Series 4.5" Lift Front Shock for Jeep TJ, Black: Superior Suspension Upgrade by Aaron Gonzales

I decided to install these on my 01 TJ with a 4.5" spar and unfortunately found that these shocks were about 2" longer than their body. This isn't a problem with Bilstein as I had to measure to make sure I was picking the right shocks for the job, but I just bought 3" front and rear shocks which take that ride much better and unnecessarily added fenders should add . This inherently reduces the "flex" travel you can get with properly sizing and reduces the chance of your new shocks bottoming. Hopefully the new shocks will fit the application and will be updated with the results after replacement.
