Review on BENTOBEN iPad 9th Generation Case, iPad 8th Gen / by Deshaun Fisher

Pretty if you prefer style to material

Overall this is a good fashion bag. Don't buy expecting good protection or cushioning in the event of a fall. This is primarily for fashion in my opinion. The material is almost like vinyl on thick cardboard. The case is glossy (not pictured) but has been sealed as a clear vinyl cover. There is a slightly rough texture. The inside of the case is made of faux velvet/microfiber which is nice. All stitches appear to be quite strong but I think they will loosen/wear out over time. The lid is quite tight at the moment. However, the nature of the material hardly deteriorates over time. All access openings/buttonholes are a perfect match. The easel function of the case is very simple - tuck the edge of the lid into the notch on the back of the case. The sleep/wake functions work as expected. It's a very nice case if you look at it in terms of 'style versus substance', and the price isn't bad. However, if you're worried about protection, get a diff case. My first one is still holding up, but after heavy daily traffic, some of the pink vinyl has come loose and the material has rubbed off in the port cutouts/corners. The case lasted about 15 months. Not bad in my opinion. Look at my spare case.
