The carpet is beautiful, just like the picture. The feeling and relief on the feet is excellent. That's why it's so frustrating to think about doing something else, because of the frustration of how the gel mat "comes out" from under the top. I installed all the gel pads (2 under the mat and corner pieces for the top) and just a few steps on it move the gel pad and show the ends or sides. Every day (sometimes more than once) I have to get on my knees and adjust the gel pad as other reviewers have reported. The corner pieces on the top layer stick really well so I don't understand why the sticky gel pieces under the gel pad don't stick. It's crazy to have something that looks and feels so perfect and have the obligation to keep shoving the gel pad back under the top rug. If it wasn't for them this would be a 5 star rating as they are great in every other way. EDITED TO ADD After a few weeks of use, the edge of the edging is badly worn. Very disappointing.
