I chose this harness for my very small kitten hoping it would fit. It fits great! Nice and tight so I'm not afraid of it coming loose on the outside. She can rotate the straps around herself so that the top rests on her chest. I have no idea how she does it. But she could never break free, even if she got out of joint. I worry about design, health. That doesn't stop her from strangling herself, and she seems to have no problem willingly putting herself in a position to strangle herself. She will walk to the end of the leash and cough and cough. I plan on changing it after a while to put another strap around her stomach so the pressure is on her chest and not her neck. At first I didn't like the bell but then I realized I needed it and I left the straps taut the whole time. ! For a small, energetic kitty, a bell to let me know where she is was extremely helpful.
