So I have to call the bullpacks that this is a 7 knife holder. Guess if you guys had smaller knives back then. Yes. may be. But he will hold 5 very well. Just two thoughts on this: for 9 inch knives, it should be 1 inch taller or larger, and the edge on the front should be covered with a metal finish to keep the knife tips from cutting into the bamboo and then potentially bending or breaking. Otherwise a really nice way to display and use your knives.
