Pocket Hole Clamp for Power and Hand Tools

I have found the pocket hole clamp handy after a few projects involving pocket holes, however with a range of bar clamps it is not necessary unless your project is too large. Finding this collar for almost half the price of another brand was enough to justify the purchase. I've read some reviews that the stem portion needs to be angled slightly to insert into a pocket hole and others claim that their pocket holes have been damaged by a clip. I have not encountered any design or performance issues with this clamp. This product works like a traditional bench vise, using the knob on the bottom of the handle to adjust the pressure. It goes without saying that it would be very easy to damage the pocket holes with a lot of force. As for the angled bar, I successfully inserted the clamp bar portion into the pocket opening in front of the clamp and had no trouble removing the clamp. I will say I have not used this with less than 2 wood.
