My gray parrot loves this toy. He plucks so anything I can offer him to keep him busy foraging will keep him from getting his own food. The gaps in the wires are quite wide so I wouldn't recommend this for small birds as they can get their heads stuck. This is definitely for parrot sized birds. Another thing to note is that small treats will fall out immediately. These must be great treats. I usually stuff him with pieces of cardboard and hidden treats to keep him occupied. He really likes staging that and hanging that thing all over the cage. In general, when he's happy, I'm happy.
