First, my bad rating isn't because the mask doesn't offer protection (I ordered it specifically for the gym). But I ordered a pack of 3 and only received 2. Not worth sending it back. And I'm not sure I want all three because when I hand washed them (because I've noticed other reviews of discoloration) this horrible dark purple color oozed out of them and disappeared forever when washed with soap ( although I'm not sure it really was). The strange smell is finally gone. I'm not worried about inhaling Covid (I got vaccinated and then had a breakthrough in July) but I really don't want to inhale chemicals. Other than those two complaints, I otherwise love this mask! It is breathable and the adjustable ears ensure a perfect fit. But I don't want to wear it for fear of inhaling a strange chemical from the material.
