Easy to use tool, suitable for bike tools and maintenance
This is a great tool to tell if your chain is showing a little or a lot of wear. Other chain testers are one size. 5 n .75 and it's hard to know if the chain is close to the limit. A worn chain is a problem, poor shifting and misfires. Also check the small cogs on the derailleur for side-to-side wobble. If they are changed by movement that keeps the chain properly on the sprocket, they can cause ghost shifts
