when i read the reviews about the belt being too tight i thought they were exaggerating or being too thick but now that i have bought it i know it is is true lol . I'm usually a medium and can wear a small for a more form-fitting fit - but with these shorts I can't even get them under my butt! The belt has very little stretch. I don't know what purpose it serves. Go up a size if you're between sizes. I don't like the fabric of the outer shell. They are a bit coarse compared to similar shorts I own which isn't a problem unless you cut the lining out of the boxers. it's also not as stretchy as I expected. Minorities unrelated to this product - trying to figure out what size to buy based on a person's height and weight is sooooo stupid. 2 different people can be the same height, weight, and have completely different proportions based on their body fat, muscle composition, skeletal structure, etc. Amazon don't need to ask my weight and height to help similar customers to find the best shape, they should ask my waist, hips, hip girth size, etc., even better, they need to list their product measurements for each size, just like uniqlo does.
