Suitable for Moldings and Moldings

I have used four rolls of this tape before and have generally had excellent results with minimal leakage. I've noticed that bleeding occurs where I haven't pressed the edge of the tape or if I've skipped a section and taped right before painting. Here, too, seepage is very low. I think the tape needs to stay on the surface for a while to create a decent seal. I usually record a day or two before painting. I also use Sherwin Williams paint which can help minimize bleeding. I am not sure. The tape sticks beautifully to my walls, ceiling and trim. I appreciate the width that keeps the paint off my blanket if I get too close to the roller.

Pros
  • Tape Removal Tips: Wait until the paint is dry to the touch before removing the tape. Lift the tape by slowly pulling it towards you and then peeling it off at a 45 degree angle.
Cons
  • Some difficulties
