Accurate and inexpensive instant read thermometer. I have both Lavatools Javelin and Thermapen and need a cheaper thermometer for my country house. Compared to other models, it's only slightly slower to read and just as accurate. The probe takes longer to cool down than other top-of-the-line models, and the probe itself is much larger in diameter. It also feels less premium compared to the Javelin and Thermapen, but that's because it's so cheap in price. I will accept the compromise. Overall this is a 5 star thermometer for the price.
