I was dangerously close to buying a $12 hair tie from FP, but luckily I checked Amazon first! Velvet hair scrunchies are my secret for huge messy buns that won't fall off during the day. This one is really quite big so it has the effect of more hair and the velvety texture captures my curly hair really well. The photo next to the hippo is of a regular size velvet scrunchie.
