Does not fit but works with a new drill hole

Front does not fit 2005 Trailblazer, add. The rear ones fit fine, but the front ones don't match with the lower plastic fairing. I put the top screw in and then pushed it all the way in. It still leaves a small gap of about 3/4" where it will be molded for the plastic overlay. But that gap is still covered by the backing so it still protects as it should. Added a photo for clarity .
