When a third party product works just as well, why pay more? This is my first irrigator. There was a bit of a learning curve when I turned it on because I had to figure out how to tilt it properly so it doesn't splash water all over the place. I was surprised to notice a significant difference in feeling improved teeth and mouth cleanliness after using it for a few weeks. I prefer the gentle mode because my gums are sensitive, but I can switch to the stronger normal mode without too much discomfort when I need a deeper cleaning. It is easy to fill and refill with water, durable and comfortable to hold. The only minor issue I had was that pulling out and changing the tip when wet can be slippery. For a cheap price, I'm happy if it lasts me at least a year.
