Not perfect but I didn't expect perfection. I researched this type of adapter pretty well before I bought it. My goal was to add a third monitor to my 2011 MacBookPro. From my research I realized that they will have some limitations. The only issue I've found so far is that it flickers when certain things are showing. For example, when I open a new tab in Safari and it shows my favorite websites, that part of the Safari window flickers. Since I won't be staying there long, it doesn't matter. My setup is a 2011 MacBookPro (17") with a 24" Asus HDMI LCD connected to the Thunderbolt Plus port and an old 19" ViewSonic LCD (1440x900) connected to the Thunderbolt Plus port StarTech USB to DVI adapter ViewSonic LCD hanging on vertical stand for dual monitor from easymounlcd.com Eventually I plan to replace the ViewSonic display with a higher resolution 24" display.
