Filtrete is the name for quality filters, everyone knows it. I bought them because of the brand, the size and the price. I would like to point out that these are not thick, heavy pleated filters. They are thin and let a lot of air through. At first I thought it might not be that great, but after watching a ton of HLK videos on YouTube, I found that it's actually very good. The high air flow improves the efficiency of my heat pump and avoids problems such as icing on the coils on the heat exchanger. I use my Alexa device to remind me to replace it every month (this is also very important). This way I avoid two of the most common problems with air handling units: dirty filters and filters that restrict airflow. Just wanted to convey what I learned. They're not expensive, but they're of the right type and won't cause any problems while still doing their job properly. Hope this information helps!
