I drive a Mark 6 VW Jetta with a single tone horn. I cut the original wiring harness and connected a twin pipe. First I bought double Hella Universal horns. Their reliability was mediocre at best, most of the time only the treble worked, and without the bass it sounded very elegant. Since my car already had two horns connected, I simply replaced them with this Seger set. No problem. Good, intimidating, full sound every time, even the brief murmur of the door lock sounds reliable. Huge upgrade from the standard single horn (and those damn horns that made me question my wiring). My VW now sounds like many other larger American cars on those unpredictable roads.
