These suction cups work as advertised. I've already used them to carry a bunch of old desktops down the stairs with ease. Just stick suction cups into the top of the computer and you have a great grip for easily manipulating what would normally be an awkward item when climbing stairs. They will also come in handy for large mirrors, glazed artwork, etc. But a word of caution - I've been told they don't go on the sides of our fridge. The surface must be smooth. The refrigerator has a textured surface, so the suction does not work.
