The only reason I bought this device was to extend my 4K laptop to a separate screen without using extra cables . My current laptop Core i7 4K 32GB with NVIDIA 8GB can be connected to multiple external monitors, HDMI and/or a Displayport via the included ports or a docking station. I wanted to connect with just one key (USB-C). The output is indeed 4k, but like many others it only outputs it at 30Hz. My problem is that it is advertised as 4k@60hz which is totally misleading and totally misses the point. BTW, I'm checking my Pixelbook (big Chromebook), Galaxy S21 phone or Pixel 4 and none of them shows 60Hz, it can only do 30Hz. Don't waste your money and the hassle of returning this key, save your time and buy another product.
