Scrap, cheap quality
The thing is more of a toy. Sure, it's light and compact, but it's cheaply made. The shaft is attached to the base with a rivet. Considering how thin the wall of the aluminum shaft is, it didn't take much torque rolling across a bumpy turf to break the rivet on first use. For the money I expect better. I returned this and paid a little more for a different brand (it's a fluorescent green 'commercial grade'). The quality was day and night!
