This holder is made of durable plastic with metal screws and threads to screw into a tripod. A tripod is not included. It doesn't have a "quick release" to get the phone out easily. However, my Galaxy S9+ fits in easily. By attaching the main body to a tripod, you can rotate the phone from portrait to landscape by simply loosening one of the knobs.
