Review on ๐Ÿพ Secure and Sturdy Tie Out Stake for Dogs: Ensuring Safety and Freedom by Vickie Kraus

Ideal for sandy bottom

I live in Southwest Florida and most pegs don't work here as the bottom is mostly sand. I live in a rental house and can't put up a fence so I was looking for another way to let my dogs play in the yard. That works great. It goes about two feet into the ground and since you have to twist it in the fins you really get great traction. My 65 lb pit bull, running at full speed behind the ducks that run through our yard, can't pull him out, nor can he bend down because he's completely buried in the ground. The cord won't tangle with a attached dog, but if you're attaching more than one to this zip tie be prepared to work hard to untangle the cords. I would recommend using this tie and cord with a harness rather than a collar. and never leave your dog unattended.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
