Review on 📀 Renewed Sony BDPS6700 Blu-Ray Disc Player with 4K Upscaling & 3D Streaming by Jason Lockwood

This is the third Sony BDPS6700 that I have bought. Two in my RV and one in my house. I bought them because 1) they are compact (i.e. don't take up much desk space) and are lightweight, 2) they scale to 4K and 3) they are 12 volt powered (i.e. output 12V). The fact that they run on 12v is a nice feature for an RV as I often camp where I need to drive on battery power (my RV's TVs also run on 12v). I made an adapter with a cigarette lighter plug on one end so I can plug the player into any 12v outlet. I'm surprised that Sony doesn't sell an adapter with a cigarette lighter plug on one end for this player. It's also odd that their online specs don't even mention that they run on 12 volts. I think they miss out on a lot of potential sales to RV owners as a result. In any case, I'm very happy with these players, which typically retail for $50-$80.
