Review on Pentek ECP5 BB Cellulose Polyester Cartridge by Eric Avina

Works great in my GE whole house sediment filter. 5 micron to 1 micron I can't get a drop under water pressure see. I use it for municipal water and basically filter the iron sludge that comes from old cast iron pipes. If you change the filters every 4 months or so, by the end of the period the filter is completely yellow and a bit slimy so you can see what you avoid in the shower etc. The filter doesn't do anything with chlorine or other contaminants but a great entryway filter for any build up.I keep buying them from Revain where they are reasonably priced and delivered.I can they might find locally, but the gasoline spent driving and the time spent isn't a bad save of a D or two ollar. Btw the photo is of an older one, the new ones are slightly redesigned with thicker ends and a black rubber washer in the middle, still fits great and works well.
