Easy to install.went downhill from there. Until I contacted Taloya.updated info

You can't connect the light to Google or Alexa unless you first get their Smart Life App, register it, and set up the light in the app, then you can add the light to google or Alexa. I have tried 6 times and though I am 15 feet from the router it fails to connect. I am reaching out to the seller to see if they can help, I really do not want to return this since It has been installed, but I am not keeping it unless I get the functionality I paid for. (otherwise I could have gotten the cheaper non-wifi version. Disappointed at this point, will change my review when I get the issue resolved or return the light. This info from the seller helped me set it up.Thank you for purchasing our ceiling light. Please make sure that your WiFi is 2.4G. If there are two WiFi, please turn off 5.0G, left 2.4G only. (I did not turn off 5G)I did this. Please try this way as well.1. Get two phones, phone A has downloaded Smart Life App. Phone B's hotpot is turned on as a new WiFi signal. Both phones disconnected with your house's WiFi.Turn on Phone A's bluetooth that can help network connection.Follow the connection instruction and try to connect the light again. Not the easiest setup but it worked, once I finally got it working in Smart Life (their app) I was able to port that over to both Alexa and Google.

Pros
  • Lighting & Ceiling Fans
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for high traffic areas
