You can't connect the light to Google or Alexa unless you first get their Smart Life App, register it, and set up the light in the app, then you can add the light to google or Alexa. For the price and size, I honestly wasn't expecting much. Boy was I surprised! It might be small but it acts much bigger. I can't believe how bright it is. Wow! I love how easy it was to install too. They come with these little quick connect things and once I googled how to use them ( no instructions on how to use them), it took less than 5 minutes to uninstall the old light and hook this up. I'm really impressed by this little thing and it is so worth the money.

The Taloya flush mount ceiling light is great. If you are replacing an existing ceiling light fixture your electrical wires probably came through the ceiling in a standard round or square metal electrical box. The Taloya light fixture comes with a round ceiling adapter that you screw onto the existing ceiling electrical box. Then the light fixture twist locks into place on the new ceiling adapter. Taloya supplies you with 2 spring connector terminal blocks to connect your black and white wires.

I had previously bought the 12” light of the same company for a walk-in closet. It does an amazing job. I bought these for a dark hallway in warm white and they are also amazing. Easy to install, bright, and thin they blend in the white ceiling.

The electrical connection was easy especially with the provided easy connectors. Wifi/BT set up was a breeze after installing the app. The real PITA is getting the light to attach to the ceiling plate. Oh my aching arms! I did not use any 4 letter words as did a previous reviewer but it took me many attempts, embarrassingly too many to mention. I like the simple yet futuristic look of these lights, they are very easy to install if you know what you are doing and if the light gang box was setup right. Some people may not like the brightness but there's settings, very bright white, midrange yellow light and low range yellow light. I have no complains so far and have even noticed that insects can't get inside like my older tit lights.

I am quite happy with this ordered. It was great to find a the light easy installed in our existing ceiling mount. The light is strong and with a dimmer switch it is easily adjusted to suit different lighting needs.
