I've been buying rechargeable bike lights for decades. Most batteries last three hours and take three or four hours to charge. It took over 6 hours to charge this battery (I went to bed so I stopped counting at 6 hours). Getting on my bike at 2:22 a.m., the red warning light came on at 2:42 a.m. The battery died at 2:53. The first warning was design. In the attached photo, the battery on the left is the purchase while the battery on the right is the previous purchase. The velcro on those 10,000 lumens faces inward, which is confusing. There were no printed or graphic instructions in the box. I finally figured out that I have to rotate the packaging for the velcro to work. This design flaw suggests that the performance flaw is internal. If they don't care about a detail, how can they care about more important details? I'll have to go elsewhere to find the quality I'm used to, a rechargeable battery that lasts a year or two before the three hours start to dwindle.
