If I hadn't adjusted to the size ( which I only cut to the outermost line for a size 2.5 size show so it was only the slightest trim) I would have returned. Smells like they were stored in a moist wet basement. Almost like wet soil or something. It's a shame because they seem to help and be comfortable. I aired out and unfortunately the smell passed on to the shoe as well. Defenitly not to use with a narrow or slim shoe. I was attempting to replace my son's soccer cleats insert. Would have probably been a five star but the smell is horrible.
