I think these things get a bad rap. For what you pay for them, they definitely fit the bill. The boards I received are not solid, look at the picture. The power rails are actually separate from the main body of the board and are held together by an adhesive backing. This is an interesting approach that might come in handy in the future if you want to split sections for some reason. The boards are straight, not curved, and have positive locking when inserting components, the rails are marked red and blue, and the rows are marked every fifth. What more could you want from a cheap project board with no frills? They work fine!
